The ANC was established in 1973 to represent the interests of noise consultants in the UK.
Since then it has grown to over one hundred member companies, including several international members and representing over seven hundred consultants.

ANC and IOA joint statement on design standards for schools
The IOA/ANC stand fast in their commitment to ensuring good acoustics feature in every school design, whether "Free Schools", Academies, Secondaries or Primaries. This is supported by evidence that good acoustics does make a positive difference. -
ADvANCE Scheme
From 1st January 2010 the ANC?s Registration Scheme has moved to an entirely online system known as ADvANCE (ANC sound test verification for ADE). -
Members Discussion Forum
Over 100 people have now joined the online discussion forum for members. This expands on the technical discussions which take place at the Company meetings, enabling members to share the experience and technical information. -
European Acoustics Consultants Network
As part of the ANC?s continuing mission to engage more closely with colleagues internationally, a discussion forum has been set up to facilitate discussion with colleagues around Europe. -
