John Connell Sustainable Development Award 2025

Sponsored by the The Association of Noise Consultants and ANV Measurement Systems, this is a new award to be presented at this year’s John Connell Awards, organised by the Noise Abatement Society.

This award recognises and encourages the development of sustainable development products, services and solutions that reduce noise and/or improve sound to benefit the environment, society (health and wellbeing) and the economy in line with the relevant/applicable areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Entries for this award should meet at least one of the following criteria:
(a) new or enhanced product(s) or solutions demonstrating significant and/or novel sustainability in technological, managerial and/or process advancement(s) to resolve noise and/or improve the sound environment, and/or
(b) organisations demonstrating a history of sustainable development for more than 2 years to resolve noise and/or improve the sound environment.
